EVER AFTER MOVIE BRIEF STORY

"Ever After" is a 1998 romantic drama film directed by Andy Tennant. Set in Renaissance-era France, the movie is a reimagining of the Cinderella fairy tale. The film stars Drew Barrymore as Danielle de Barbarac, Anjelica Huston as Rodmilla de Ghent, and Dougray Scott as Prince Henry.

The story follows the life of Danielle de Barbarac, a young woman who is treated as a servant by her stepmother, Rodmilla, and her stepsisters after her father dies. Despite her difficult circumstances, Danielle remains strong-willed and independent, finding solace in her love for literature and her supportive relationship with the other servants.

When Danielle meets Prince Henry, a charming and idealistic nobleman, a romantic connection begins to develop between them. However, complications arise as Danielle's identity is concealed, and she pretends to be a noblewoman in order to avoid revealing her servitude. As the relationship between Danielle and Henry deepens, they must navigate the social and political challenges that threaten to keep them apart.
